According to the FT article, the corporations are still completing their agreements, and no contracts have yet been signed.
A spokesman for TalkShopLive declined to comment, while TikTok took some time to react to Reuters’ request for comment.

The live shopping site for TikTok, TikTok Shop, operated by Bytedance, is accessible in several Asian countries, including Thailand, Malaysia, and Vietnam. It was introduced in the United Kingdom last year, the article claims.
Users of the TalkShopLive app, which is based in Los Angeles, can purchase goods through links on the app while live broadcasts are taking place. TikTok Shop also offers this feature. On its website, TalkShopLive identifies itself as a “live streaming, social buying and selling platform.”
TalkShopLive and American retailer Walmart (WMT.N) reached an arrangement last year to offer shoppable content via embeddable videos on Walmart.com. The rumored agreement comes as TikTok, whose biggest market is the United States, is under investigation by American lawmakers who are concerned about the app’s protections for user data.
